Unlike standard micro-abrasion treatments, the Sapphire 3 treatment consists of a crystal-free, suction-free, micro-abrasion coupled with red and blue L.E.D. (Light-Emitting Diodes) light technology (LED light technology was first introduced by NASA to enhance cell growth and stimulate the healing process of cells that affected astronauts on long-term space missions).
The process employs a sapphire head utilizing a vibrating movement with a range of grit (grain size): fine, medium, or course, allowing for a deeper exfoliation. It’s also beneficial because it incorporates a process called “photomodulation”, combining both red and blue light therapy, as well as stimulating lymphatic drainage.
